Friendship Funday is a great opportunity for children to learn about the global community in which they live, while reflecting on the meaning of friendship and how they can make a difference.
Although it officially takes place on 21 May 2010, you can choose any date in your calendar on which to celebrate. Friendship Funday is a perfect activity for the start of the new school year, or for your summer camp. Many schools also choose to get involved during anti-bullying week in November.
Register today and you will be invited to make your mark on our Friendship Map. Depending on where you are, we may have a volunteer speaker available who could introduce Save the Children in your friendship assembly, or come to say a big THANK YOU for all your hard work.
Most importantly, please don’t forget to send us your donation. In return, we’ll send you a Friendship Funday certificate to reward your group for the difference they’ve made.
