Natasha Kaplinsky is one of the UK's best-known broadcasters. As a Save the Children ambassador, she has campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness of children living in dire circumstances around the world.
ITV and ITV London Tonight newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky became an Ambassador for Save the Children in 2010. She has seen many of our international programmes and visited our work in India, South Africa and Mozambique.
Natasha played a pivotal role in launching our biggest campaign yet, No Child Born to Die.
Born to Shine
Because of her very personal involvement with our work, Natasha was the natural choice to front Born to Shine – Save the Children's partnership with ITV1 to raise both money and awareness of the work we do.
To help launch our Name a Day campaign, Natasha undertook a journey to discover the truth about hunger. On her visit to two communities in Mozambique, she saw the devastating effects hunger has on children there.
