Middle East

We've been helping children in the Middle East since soon after we were founded in 1919.

We established an office in Cairo in 1998. We’re improving the quality and accessibility of education as well as working to protect children from abuse.

We're helping families forced from their homes by conflict in Iraq and Syria, and we're raising awareness about children's rights.

We’re working in camps and communities across Jordan to ensure Syrian refugee children receive food, protection and education.

We started working in Lebanon in 1953. Since the onset of the Syria crisis, we’ve scaled up our programmes to meet the needs of thousands of refugee families.

Syria - Save the ChildrenSyria

War in Syria has forced millions of children from their homes. Others are trapped in besieged towns. We're helping families in desperate need.

Children in Yemen are currently caught up in the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Our teams are on the ground delivering urgent aid.
