Our response
- Based in Benghazi, we had experts in child protection, education, food security and health responding to the needs of children and families.
- We increased our children protection work across the country, including supporting children affected by the conflict by setting up supervised child friendly places and activity centres. There children developed positive coping strategies by expressing themselves through painting, sports, dancing and story-telling.
- Emergency health equipment and medicines arrived in Tripoli in September which will medicines and medical supplies to 20,000 for 3 months.
- We are running 16 child-friendly spaces in and around Benghazi. Stationery and educational materials for 10 schools have been procured and distributed.
