Give now to help Syria's children

Sana*, aged 3, lost her father and her home. She now lives in a small dank, dark tent in a bordering country

Sana’s just turned three. She’s one of millions of children inside Syria and across the region, who face growing risk of disease, malnutrition and severe trauma.

Save the Children is working on the ground in Syria very dangerous circumstances to reach children with water, medicine and clothing.

Please donate now to support our work with Syria's children.

In neighbouring countries our teams are trying to meet the growing basic needs of up to half a million refugee children basic essentials.

We’re also helping them recover from what they’ve experienced by providing emotional support.

But our funds are limited and we urgently need more support to continue our vital work: please donate today.

With your help we can help make sure many more Syrian children are fed, healthy and safe, as well as support them through the horrific experiences they’ve been through.

How we're helping Syria's children right now

Shelter

We’re distributing toolboxes to families for basic repairs and insulation for their shelters.

We’re also distributing vouchers to families, enabling them to purchase children’s winter clothing, mattresses, blankets, heating fuel and stoves.

Food

We’re providing large scale food distributions in the Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan.

Our daily bread distribution in the camp reach over 90,000 Syrian refugees

We distribute food vouchers to an additional 32,150 Syrians living outside the camp.

Emotional Support

We’re organising space spaces for children to play and learn across the region.

We’re carrying out a range of child protection activities: such as establishing Parents Child Centres and handing out protection tip sheets.

We’ve also helped set-up, train and support community child protection committees.
